An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Catering Manager.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and. supported by a strong hands-on approach.
Will need to be able to demonstrate a professional approach to managing the team have a friendly, pleasant and outgoing personality; enjoy leading from the front and developing the team.
Will be passionate about food and service, show creativity and be able to demonstrate the necessary flair and enthusiasm to succeed.

 

Previous experience in a similar role is essential as is an exceptional eye for detail and have a good knowledge of current food trends.

Excellent supervisory skills are required and have a proven track record in this field

Job description
  • Minimum of five years experience as an Head Chef in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred). 
     
  • Culinary school degree required.
  • Very strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
  • Very strong communication, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior customer service, teambuilding and conflict resolution skills.

Job description

An opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager

Qualifications

 

  • Not less than 10 years of experience in Construction Management with construction management background and qualification; has experience of building up to 5-storey level (not high rising buildings)
  • Knowledge and experience of high quality finishes
  • Project Management experience: planning, implementing and monitoring of whole project life cycle, including budgeting, management and control of all costs
  • High commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Good at networking and sourcing business opportunities
  • Good customer relationship building skills 
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills - specifically written and verbal English, including report writing
  • Must have experience of working in an insecure environment, post-war/conflict; experience in Africa is highly advantageous

Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be a graduate in a relevant field and will have at least 6 years hands on experience in procurement process preferably gained in the UAE.  Experience with Food and Construction Industries is an added advantage. He/She will have working knowledge of ERP systems. Fluency in English; both written and oral is a must.
