RA International values the humanitarian cause. In all the countries we operate, we ensure a return to the communities in which we work. We believe that by giving back to the community we provide sustainable long-term relationships with its inhabitants.
Not only do we recruit staff from the very countries and areas we operate in, but we also offer them salaried vocational training - on the job - and opportunities for sustainable employment. Either by employing them ourselves, or by helping them set up businesses of their own and entering into partnerships with them. |
We are also part of educational projects, providing language training for Afghans along with vocational training. Furthermore, together with NATO and ISAF, we provide toilets and waste management to Afghan schools. In Sierra Leone and Liberia, we have constructed schools and provided fresh water for communities and hospitals.
We have also initiated a development fund to support non-governmental organizations that add value to the communities.
